Leasing FAQs
Have a question about leasing your next vehicle? View our FAQs below or contact us using the details above.
Applicants must be 18 years or older to enter into a vehicle finance contract. Younger drivers or those with a limited credit record may find it easier to secure approval by applying alongside a guarantor, such as a parent or family member residing at the same address.
To finalise approval, finance providers require valid proof of identity and current residential address. Standard requirements include a photo ID (passport or driving licence) alongside a recent proof of address, such as a utility statement issued within the last three months. Additional documentation may be requested if you're not on the electoral roll or if you've moved house recently.
Most contract hire agreements allow for mileage adjustments during your term, subject to funder policies. If your driving habits change or you anticipate exceeding your original allowance, reach out to our customer support team as early as possible to review your options.
Lease agreements are designed for a fixed period, but early vehicle upgrades or swaps can sometimes be arranged. Ending a contract early typically incurs an early termination charge. Speak with your account manager to discuss the feasibility and potential costs for your specific agreement.
Most lease vehicles can be taken abroad for trips within Europe. Prior to travelling, you must contact your finance provider to obtain an official DVLA VE103 authorisation certificate (a small administrative fee may apply). Contact our team and we'll help you request the necessary paperwork.
Additional drivers are permitted provided they hold a full, valid driving licence and are explicitly named on your comprehensive motor insurance policy. You must remain listed as the primary driver and policyholder at all times.
Servicing must strictly follow the vehicle manufacturer's official maintenance schedule and utilise genuine OEM parts. While main dealerships are standard, many finance companies permit the use of approved independent garages. Contact your dedicated account manager for guidance, or ask about adding an all-inclusive maintenance package to your contract.
