Our commission arrangements
Express Vehicle Contracts may receive a commission from the finance provider and/or lender if you decide to enter into a finance or leasing agreement that we arrange on your behalf. This commission is paid by the finance provider and/or lender after your vehicle has been delivered and your agreement has commenced.
The commission we receive may be:
A fixed amount determined by the finance provider, lender or leasing company; or
A variable amount calculated using a commission structure determined by the relevant provider, which may depend on factors such as the agreement, pricing or other transaction-specific arrangements.
Commission arrangements and amounts may vary between finance providers, lenders and leasing companies on our panel. Where a provider determines the commission and we have no ability to negotiate or change it, we will explain this where relevant.
The commission payable to Express Vehicle Contracts will be reflected in the overall cost of your finance or leasing agreement, including your initial rental and/or monthly rental payments. The effect will depend on the commission structure and pricing arrangements applicable to your agreement.
Where a commission structure is variable and may affect the price offered to you, we will explain the relevant arrangement so that you can understand how it may affect the cost of your agreement.
The amount of commission may vary between different finance providers and lenders on our panel. Where the commission is predetermined by the finance provider and/or lender, Express Vehicle Contracts cannot negotiate or change the amount payable.
The commission payable to Express Vehicle Contracts will be reflected in the overall cost of your finance or leasing agreement, including your initial rental and/or monthly rentals.
When we disclose commission
Express Vehicle Contracts will advise you of any commissions present at quoting stage and will clarify and confirm if any changes have occurred with commissions prior to credit application.
Before you enter into an agreement and before any credit searches are carried out, where required, we will disclose:
that we will receive commission;
the nature of the commission;
the amount of the commission (or, where applicable, the method used to calculate it); and
answer any questions you may have about how the commission arrangement operates
You may ask us for further information about the commission associated with your proposed agreement before deciding whether to proceed. We will provide information in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and in good time before you enter into the agreement.

In addition to commission, Express Vehicle Contracts may receive marketing, promotional or training support from finance providers, lenders or vehicle manufacturers. These payments are separate from any commission relating to your agreement and do not affect the price you pay for your vehicle, finance or leasing agreement.
